Sherry's visual art practice is nourished by:
1. Her continuing interest in and dedication to her part-time work as an usher in the city's musical and performing arts theatres. During her thirty years of this pursuit, she has seen, met, heard and responded to some of the world's most renowned performers, such as Yo Yo Mah, Ceclia Bartoli and performing groups, Kirov and Bolshoi ballet Companies.
2. Her ten years as docent in the city's original art gallery on Georgia and Thurlow streets.
Sherry has both witnessed and taken an integral role in the growth and development of Vancouver's arts and culture scene.
3. Sherry has been a jury member for the Jessie Theatre Awards in Vancouver for three years.
